Welcome to a plenary instant

Welcome to a plenary instant. The description above is both pretentious and overwrought, as any description of a plenary instant should be. Being swept away by the moment, by the sweet sound of fingers furiously typing what promises to be perhaps the greatest single revelation to ever pass through your keyboard into cyberspace: that is what this site is all about.

Each and every post here should be met with a bit of a wince and a giggle from the author when reviewed later, after greater perspective and understanding envelop the seeming epiphany into a broader web of more rational and connected thoughts.

Momentary absolutism is spiritual - a state of mind that refuses to allow the rational to dictate the emotional. There is always ample time for perspective and reflection, but plenary instants are few and far between - even for those of us more susceptible to the irrationality of momentary absolutism. So I choose to celebrate those brief encounters with certainty and completeness, those precious moments of clarity unfettered by reality, those moments when your spirit soars unconcerned about the fact that reality is a thousand feet below and you forgot to pack a parachute.
